One of my family’s absolute favorite dishes is Orange Chicken, so I thought I’d try to come up with a recipe that I could throw in a slow cooker to cook throughout the day. I also wanted to try and make the recipe a little healthier than the traditional breaded and fried dish, and I think this recipe is a definite winner. I made this Crockpot Orange Chicken recipe earlier in the week in honor of Chinese New Year, and my family loved it! Who needs take out?

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce

Spray your slow cooker with some cooking spray before putting in the food, so it’ll make clean up easier.

Place the diced chicken in the crockpot on low. Mix the marmalade, BBQ sauce and soy sauce together and pour the mixture over the chicken. Cook it all on low for 8 hours.
