So I must say that these Frozen Yogurt Dipped Strawberries did not turn out the way I’d hoped. They were delicious, but the yogurt was a tad too runny and didn’t stick to the strawberries like I wanted. Since they tasted delicious, I am still going to share the recipe, but am altering it a tad.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of Greek yogurt

I started by slicing the stems of the strawberries off. I used a skewer to dip the strawberries into the yogurt and rested them on parchment paper, and then popped them in the freezer. They were delicious, but the yogurt didn’t freeze to the strawberry like I had hoped. So, here are my alterations to the recipe: After slicing the stem off, dip the strawberries into powdered sugar, giving the strawberry a light coating of sugar. The plan is that the yogurt will adhere better to the strawberry. My second alteration is to use Greek yogurt instead of plain yogurt. It has a thicker consistency, which would allow the yogurt to stick a little easier. Try these out with the modifications and hopefully they will freeze a little better than mine did.!
