If you are anything like me, you have a ton of Mason jar lids laying around in your kitchen drawers. I love using Mason jars as drinking glasses so generally end up with loads of extra lids. Well I have the perfect craft to utilize all those extra lids with materials that you probably have lying around the house. These cute little mason jar wreaths can be used to decorate your kitchen cabinets, a decor for a present or an ornament. They are easy, inexpensive and really adds a sweet touch to your holiday decor.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Mason jar lids
  • Twine
  • Ribbon
  • Decor elements
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks

Using your twine or ribbon, simply tie a small knot around the mason jar securing the end with a little hot glue.

Begin wrapping the entire lid with the twine, until the entire lid is covered.

Secure the twine by creating another knot and trim the excess twine off.

Hot glue the end to secure it in place and then start embellishing the wreath. I found some cute merry christmas signs from the dollar store as well as some cure jingle bells.

Loop a piece of ribbon around the wreath and display wherever you need a splash of holiday.
